Strategic Groups and Clusters

There are three Strategic Groups in Scotland, one for each of the three central aims (Strategy and Policy, Qualifications and Learning and Labour Market Intelligence). Each SSC is a member of a group and each group is chaired by a SSC Scottish lead.

The Alliance Scotland also facilitates a number of cross-SSC cluster groups to come together to develop joint strategies on shared issues. These can range from a group of SSCs working in a similar sectoral environment, to a diverse mix of SSCs coming together to address a cross-cutting skills issue impacting on a variety of sectors.

Forum

The Alliance Scotland Forum meets quarterly and provides an opportunity for all SSC Scottish leads to come together to share good practice, engage in debate with partners, and to keep updated on evolving policy themes.
